I've listened to this a lot :)
I really like the harmonies at ~1:12 (true, oh), goose bumps!
Author's Response:
Yes, those harmonies are my pride and joy. I too feel the most emotions when there's a lot of harmony involved. That's why I try to always have good harmony wherever I can manage.

Someone mentioned that the trumpet was off beat according to the actual song? To me it sounds exactly the same timing, relative to the higher BPM of course.
Anyway, that's the thing I don't like about the original song, the trumpets are not in line with the beat and it sounds so terrible. Some of their notes start half way through a beat, but others don't, it drives me crazy (my class mates like to play this song a lot...) I like the parts without the trumpets though x.x
I like it with the faster beat, and I like your synths better. But the power of heavy bass drum seems to be lacking in this version.

I think this is a really good remix, when it gets into it! I feel this should have a higher score... I believe, because it takes quite a while to get into the actual beat (1minute 12 seconds), that people haven't stayed to listen to the real remix part of the song...
Author's Response:
Haha, probably its just because the quality of the mix isnt that good, but whatever...

This is so amazing I loved every second of it. I would love to give proper musical feedback but I don't know the terminologies and stuff. I just love how it changes so much but keeps the same feeling.
Author's Response:
Don't tell anyone - i'm too not experienced with musical theory and terminology. ;) Thanks.

I was hoping for a climax similar to the original where the bass cleft sort of went into a double time, but in your version the squeaky synth was a nice climax to the song although I wish you also added in the double time on your bass.
... But that's nitpicky, because I really did enjoy the remix. Good job!
Author's Response:
Thanks for the review,
I actually looked at the original song quite differently, I didn't think there was real climax at the end, I thought that basically that the chorus is getting stronger until the end, so I decided to add some sort of a climax by adding that squeaky synth.

Is it just me or does the chiming instruments make this song sound Christmas-y? I find that fitting for this time of year.
Very good song, gave me a good feeling when listening to it.

That was quite an epic journey. I really didn't expect there to be some drum and bass in there, but when it came up I was very pleased with it. I like how it didn't fully build up to it either, it was more like a surprise, and a pleasant one might I add.
Author's Response:
Thank you, it was supposed to be a bit intense. I didn't want to know it was coming.

Quite unsettling. I liked it a lot. Someone is just looking out and seeing flashes of light, a distant war. Not a war against other humans, but a war against something foreign to the planet. The TV is on in the other room. Huge robots creating that terrible and constant thud throughout. He eventually goes back inside as it starts to rain, he walks down a hallway to a large room. There are plenty of people in there, maybe he's in a shelter for refugees.
